Description
Jacks Magic The Pink Stuff is the “original” Jack’s Magic stain prevention product. While it’s older than the others, it still is stronger and more effective than the competitors. The Pink Stuff can be used under “normal” circumstances and is a great all-around sequestering agent. It works by grabbing and removing metallic contaminants through the pool’s filtration system.
While The Pink Stuff will work on a variety of things, it is most effective on iron and is generally used with Stain Solution #1 in stain removal treatments. If you fill your pool with well water and don’t have a high TDS, The Pink Stuff is for you. The Pink Stuff can also be used if you don’t have a pool heater and know that copper is not a problem for you.
Unlike most stain preventatives, The Pink Stuff is chlorine tolerant under normal conditions. Most products require you to lower the chlorine level in order for the product to be effective... not with ours. Also, Jack’s Magic is the only company that actually has a test kit designed to measure the amount of its sequestering agents so you can determine exactly how much to add to maintain appropriate levels.

- Initial dose: 32oz per 10,000 gallons
- Maintenance: 10-12ppm of jacks or 6-8oz per week per 10,000 gallons.
