Description
The GLB Filter Cleanse Filter Cleaner is a multi-purpose granular formula that cleans and unclogs filters of oils, grease and scale with a combination of acids and detergents. GLB Filter Cleanse has a unique chemistry build that will gradually change from red to yellow as it cleans.
Dosing: Use the GLB Filter Cleanse routinely once every month or two during season to maintain efficient operation.

- Cartridge Filters and Removable DE Filter Grids
- Remove element and place in plastic container
- Cover element with Filter Cleanse solution (1lb per 5 gal of water)
- Allow to soak at least 4 hours, preferably overnight
- Remove element, rinse thoroughly and replace in filter
- Sand Filters and Non-Removable Elements
- Backwash then drain. Close drain valve.
- Prepare Filter Cleanse solution (1lb per 5 gal of water)
- Add sufficient solution to cover sand (see instructions on label)
- Allow to soak overnight – at least 12 hours
- Backwash until water runs clear
- Return to normal operation
