The Diaphragm is the most important part on the Baracuda G3 and G4's - so by getting a knock-off brand, your pool cleaner will NOT run like new, it will run like it does now. We sell both and you can feel the difference in the Genuine Replacement Part and you can see by the price of the item the difference.
This is not only the Zodiac Genuine Diaphragm W69698, it's the "Long Life" version Diaphragm, which is a far superior diaphragm than the stock unit. That allows the cleaner to provide reliable, one moving part operating technology. The G3 and G4 automatic pool cleaners use the W69698 Diaphragm in place of gears, wheels and flaps for a simple, silent operation with a very low maintenance cost. If your G3 or G4 cleaner is not moving, or moving slowly, check the diaphragm for cracks, ears, splits, or blockage. This long life diaphragm is expected to be double that of the life span of the normal Baracuda diaphragm.
